The story of Pentecost offers a foretaste of heaven where people of every tribe, nation and language will stand before the throne of God in worship (Rev 7:9-10). By engaging in diverse worship we re-enact the story of Pentecost and live into our calling as God’s people. In doing so, we remind ourselves that God’s mission is from everywhere to everywhere.
